Mactor Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before downloading or using Mactor (“the App”). By installing or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developer of Mactor (“Developer”). Your use of the App constitutes acceptance of these Terms in full.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Mactor on any Apple-branded Mac computer that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it without prior written consent from the Developer
• Reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App to any third party
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the App

4. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. System metrics, scan results and history stay on your Mac. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase information for subscription access, and update checks contact Apple.

5. Free Features and Mactor Pro

Live monitoring and cleaner scans are free. Mactor Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription for removal in the cleaner tools, threshold alerts and the longer history views. The price, billing period and any applicable offer are displayed before purchase.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings; cancellation stops future renewals, and access continues through the paid period. Restore purchases in the App when needed. Apple handles billing and refunds under its applicable terms. RevenueCat validates subscription access.

6. File Operations and System Information

Review file paths and selected items before confirming removal, and keep backups of important files. Junk Cleaner deletes selected junk directly; it is not recoverable from the Trash. Large Files Finder and App Uninstaller move selected items to the Trash, where they can be recovered until the Trash is emptied.

Results depend on folder permissions and system restrictions. The App cannot guarantee that every related file is found or removed. Simulator runtimes are listed for information and must be removed through Xcode or the provided command.

System readings, estimates, charts and notifications are informational. History is recorded while the App runs; alerts depend on the selected thresholds and notification permission.

7. Updates and Maintenance

The Developer may, at its sole discretion, release updates or new versions of the App. Updates may be delivered through the Mac App Store and may be required to continue using the App. The Developer is under no obligation to provide updates, maintenance, or support.

8. Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any provision. Upon termination you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies in your possession.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The Developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF THE DEVELOPER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP AND ITS PRO SUBSCRIPTION IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Developer's jurisdiction.
