Mactor 2.4 requires macOS 14.0 or later. It supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Liquid Glass surfaces are available on macOS 26; battery readings apply to laptops.

Mactor uses Apple and RevenueCat for purchases and subscription access; these services process purchase information and an app user identifier. It also contacts Apple to check for app updates. Large Files Finder and App Uninstaller move selected items to the Trash. You can recover them while they remain there. Junk Cleaner deletes the selected junk directly after confirmation, so those items cannot be restored from the Trash. Review the selection and keep backups of important files before cleaning.
It scans installed apps and related files in locations such as Application Support, Caches, Containers, Preferences and Logs. Review the full paths and uncheck items before removal. Apple’s own apps and Mactor are excluded. Removal depends on the folders you allow Mactor to access, so it cannot guarantee that every leftover is found.
Set thresholds for CPU, GPU, memory, free disk space and battery, and allow notifications. Alerts wait for a sustained threshold crossing and notify once per event. Mactor records local per-minute history while it is running; Pro lets you view the last hour or 24 hours with average, peak, low and trend. Network throughput has a live rolling chart rather than this 24-hour history.
No. It lists installed simulator runtimes and their sizes, but the App Store sandbox prevents Mactor from removing them. Use Xcode or copy the command shown for the selected runtime.
Storage scans and cleaning need access to the folders you select. Mactor uses macOS permission dialogs and local security-scoped bookmarks to remember that access. Without permission, a scan may be incomplete and some items cannot be removed.
