Frequently asked questions
Which devices does InfoSaver support?
InfoSaver 4.1.0 supports iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or later.
What can I use for free?
In 4.1.0, expense and subscription tracking are free with no limits. Quick add, spending analytics, subscription reminders, the Apple Pay Shortcuts action and spending widgets are included. Premium adds optional iCloud sync, App Lock, the Home Screen card widget and CSV export. Cards, Links and Lists remain available in the menu.
How does Apple Pay tracking work?
Follow the guide in Settings to create a Transaction automation in Apple Shortcuts and pass the merchant and amount to InfoSaver. Purchases sent by that automation wait in the Inbox for confirmation. InfoSaver does not connect to your bank, read your Wallet history or import past transactions.
Does InfoSaver need an account or collect my expenses?
No InfoSaver account or bank login is needed. Your expense records are stored on your device. Optional Premium iCloud sync uses your private iCloud database. RevenueCat processes purchase information and an anonymous app identifier to manage Premium; it does not receive your expense ledger. There are no ads or advertising tracking in 4.1.0.
Can InfoSaver cancel subscriptions for me?
No. It tracks the subscriptions you enter and can remind you before a renewal. Adding or deleting a record does not subscribe to, pay for or cancel the service. Manage each subscription with its provider.
Can I set budgets or use multiple currencies?
InfoSaver tracks and compares spending; it does not set budget limits. Choose one currency for your records. If you change it, you supply the conversion rate; InfoSaver does not fetch live exchange rates.
What does Premium cost?
Premium is planned as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time purchase. Available plans, prices and any trial eligibility are shown in the app before purchase. Manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings and use Restore Purchases in InfoSaver when needed.
Where are my cards, links and lists?
They are in the “…” menu. Store QR, Aztec, PDF417 and Code 128 cards, save links through the Share button, and keep nested expense lists with automatic totals.
